ST. THOMAS-ELGIN CHILD CARE


In 1999 the provincial government transferred the responsibility for the management and delivery of child care services to municipalities. St. Thomas-Elgin Ontario Works became the municipal agent responsible for the delivery of child care on January 2, 2000. 

It was at this time that both the Vision and Guiding Principles for the new Elgin County child care system were created.
